| 2cy Glaucous Gull / Larus hyperboreus, Westkapelle - sea dike (The Netherlands) on 01 March 2008 | | | |
This first winter was present in the afternoon at the sea dike of Westkapelle. The feathers of this Glaucous Gull is very paled and worn, especially the primaries and tail rectrices. In the right wing p1 is creating a hole, although p1 is still present and the tip of p10 is truncated. The left wing is still intact after a small hole between p6 and p7 & p7 and p8 which is mainly due by the wear in the inner web of p7 and p8.
