Geelpootmeeuw | Yellow-legged Gull | Larus michahellis
2cy Yellow-legged Gull / Larus michahellis, Etaples (France) on 25 October 2008
Comparable with these 2cy Yellow-legged Gull. But note the small and slender build, the more yellowish bill and red spot on the gonys, and the slightly dark peppered iris.

All scapulars, more than half of the median coverts and a few lesser coverts are moulted to adult-like plain grey feathers. Note also that some tail feathers are replaced by new generation whitish feathers.
